1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Community Development Initiative ("CDI") website, donor portal, or any related tool, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Permitted use

The site is provided to inform the community about CDI's programs, support stewardship of charitable gifts, and allow authorized staff and donors to access their own information. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes consistent with our faith-centered mission.

3. Accounts

Some areas (admin and donor portal) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. CDI may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Donations

CDI does not process online payments through this website. Gift amounts displayed here are recorded manually by staff for transparency. All charitable contributions are voluntary, non-refundable except where required by law, and subject to our stewardship policies. Tax receipts are issued separately by CDI / St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.

5. Program participation

Enrollment in Excell, STAR, Pathway, or Spiritual Readiness is subject to separate consent forms, age and eligibility requirements, and applicable program policies. Information about minors is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and FERPA-aligned practices.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including curriculum descriptions, logos, photography, and written materials — is owned by CDI or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to use.
• Uploading malicious code, scraping at scale, or interfering with site operation.
• Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with CDI.
• Using the site to harass, defraud, or harm any person, especially minors served by our programs.

8. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, CDI does not guarantee that program information, schedules, or impact figures are free of errors or will remain current.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDI, St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, and their officers, staff, and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tensas Parish, Louisiana.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
